(SENECA FALLS, NY) – Trailblazers PAC, the national, nonpartisan organization supporting candidates for county or municipal level office who stand for clean government, announced its endorsement of Rachel Weil who is running in the November 5, 2019 general election to serve as Seneca County, NY Supervisor.

With a mission of “Front Porch Politics,” Trailblazers PAC changes the game by challenging leaders of any party to act better than the current broken money in politics system. Across the country, Trailblazers PAC gives voters the power to take back their rightful role by moving politics out of the back room, onto the front porch. Around these candidates grow communities that demand and expect honest government.

To earn Trailblazers PAC’s endorsement, candidates for county or municipal level office must disclose every penny in and out of their campaign, make themselves accountable to their own voters by raising funds from households within their district instead of just from outside interests, and stand up for honest government through Election Day and beyond.

Trailblazers is teaching me as a candidate to rely on small donations, reach out to neighbors, and get everyone engaged in making Seneca County a better place to live and work. I’m thrilled to receive their endorsement,” said Rachel Weil, candidate for Seneca County Supervisor

“Rachel goes beyond campaign promises to take real action for clean government while she’s running. We are proud of our candidates who take the bold step to put themselves on the line, as any candidate does, but also take further steps to make voters the centerpiece of their campaigns. Rachel did the hard work in 2017 when we first endorsed her campaign, and she’s doing it again in her 2019 race,” said Leslie Danks Burke, founder and president of Trailblazers PAC.

Now in its third year, Trailblazers PAC has invested in successful candidates of many different political parties in one community after another. Trailblazers PAC also offers popular “Front Porch Politics” workshops that have educated thousands of candidates, supporters, and interested citizens on local-level political involvement in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, and elsewhere, and is mentoring municipal-level candidates in New York, Colorado, Indiana, Texas, and other states.
