The program, written and directed by playwright Rachel Lampert of Ithaca, supports the clean government group Trailblazers PAC. The political action committee supports county and municipal candidates of any party nationwide who demonstrates transparency and accountability beyond what the law requires. Slaughter is said to have been a supporter of the group when it launched in 2017. Friend and former Brighton Town Supervisor Sandra Frankel will join the cast as a special guest during the tribute.
