(HORSEHEADS, N.Y.) – The five candidates endorsed by Trailblazers PAC for Chemung County Legislator include two Republicans and three Democrats. Three of Trailblazers PAC’s endorsed candidates will also appear on the Conservative line, one on the Working Families line, and one on the Horseheads Now line.

“Our Trailblazers stand for moving politics out of the back room, onto the front porch, no matter what party they align with. It’s time to elect officeholders who are accountable to their own voters instead of just special interests. We’re proud that Trailblazers appear across the board in Chemung County,” said said Leslie Danks Burke, founder and president of Trailblazers PAC.

With a mission of “Front Porch Politics,” Trailblazers PAC invests in candidates of any political party (even if they are running against each other) who are running for county or municipal level office, and 1) disclose every penny in and out of their campaign, 2) make themselves accountable to their voters by raising funds from households inside their district instead of just from special interests, and 3) commit to acting for clean government through Election Day and beyond.

Trailblazers PAC has endorsed the following candidates running for Chemung County Legislator in Tuesday’s election:

  • Anthony Pucci, District 1 (Democratic, Conservative)
  • Michael Saglibene, District 2 (Conservative)
  • Deborah Lynch, District 3 (Democratic, Working Families)
